Planning and Preparation

Before installation, survey the route, obtain necessary permits, and ensure poles are “made ready” for cable attachment. Use polyethylene (PE) jackets with UV protection for aerial cables to prevent degradation from sunlight .

Choosing the Right Cable and Support

  • ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cables can be installed near power lines without metallic support.
