The servers draw in this cold air, and the heated exhaust exits into adjacent hot aisles. CAC typically uses doors and overhead or side panels to contain the cold air, preventing it from mixing with hot exhaust air . The hot air is captured and directed back to the cooling units without mixing with the cold supply air.
