Methods of Grounding

  1. Using the Cable Tray as the EGC Metal cable trays can serve as the Equipment Grounding Conductor (EGC) if they meet NEC requirements for conductivity and mechanical strength. This is suitable for steel or aluminum trays that are electrically continuous and properly bonded at joints .
